What is Platelet Lysate (PL) Therapy?
Platelet Lysate (PL) represents a specialized preparation of platelets designed to deliver growth factors in a form particularly well-suited for certain conditions, especially those involving nerves and inflammatory processes.

How PL Treatment Works
- Blood Draw
A small blood sample is drawn from your arm (30-60cc). - Laboratory Processing
Your blood undergoes platelet concentration through centrifugation, followed by a controlled freeze-thaw cycle to create lysate. This releases growth factors into solution. - Image-Guided Injection
Using ultrasound or fluoroscopic guidance, Dr. Ghattas precisely injects PL around nerves or into joints/tissues as appropriate.
Total Time: Approximately 1.5-2 hours.
